This Is My Story watercolor was destined for the trash can. I dropped my wet paintbrush onto the paper more than halfway through the painting process leaving a large splash of paint right where it didn't belong. I decided to embellish the mistake and add some fun paint splatters. What did I have to lose? After showing it to my husband (who is great at thinking outside the box), he encouraged me to keep it and said, "Isn't that the story of most of our lives? It isn't perfect, but God uses the mistakes to make something beautiful."
